This family-friendly neighborhood is homey and peaceful. Filled with beautiful homes and spacious backyards, Lowry is perfect for those raising families or anyone wanting be near urban attractions and amenities while staying away from the hustle and bustle of city-life.
The neighborhood is located on the old Lowry Air Force Base and is rich with history. The area that is now called Lowry once served as the Air Force military and training base for over 50 years. Much of the history is preserved at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. Near the museum is the popular Lowry Beer Garden, as well as a number of excellent places to dine after a day of exploring the former Air Force Base.
A laid-back neighborhood, Lowry is heavily residential, but so close to Downtown Denver it is still convenient and accessible for all demographics. The close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and retail make the neighborhood convenient and walkable.
