PRE-LIST APPT.png

We’ll have an initial meeting to go over my process, talk through your goals, discuss current market trends & create a strategy to get your home ready to sell. We’ll do a walk through of your home & talk about the areas that could use improvement or cleanup to show your home in the best light possible, while keeping budgets in mind.

Preparing your home to list might include things such as decluttering, minor touchups, small repairs, staging, deep cleaning or cosmetic upgrades. Every situation is different, but I only have your best interest in mind when I make suggestions.

With homes that have sold with the Graham Group, it has paid off tremendously to have put the time, effort, and investment into doing minor to major touch-ups or remodels. This helps give the home the best first impression when it is listed to gain attention & get it sold quicker!

INSIDE

  • Clean your house thoroughly & keep it that way while selling. Shine appliances, vacuum or shampoo carpet, polish the floors, clean light fixtures and windows (inside and out).

  • Remove clutter! Keep your kitchen spotless. Remove any unnecessary items from the countertops.

  • Move clothes out of your closet so it does not appear too full or busting at the seams. Remove extra furniture & pictures from the room.

  • Remove personal items that are conspicuous. You want to show off the house, not yourself. This will help visually expand the rooms in your home.

  • Fix or repair items that are not in perfect working order. Tighten loose knobs, repair light switches, fix leaky faucets, caulk & grout the bathroom, fix squeaky doors.

  • Consider repainting- a fresh coat of neutral paint enhances the detail of a home & is often an inexpensive way to make your house look nicer. Plus, paint smells clean!

  • Staging your home could make a dramatic difference in your home being sold quickly & for top dollar.

OUTSIDE

  • First impressions are crucial! Clean the front yard, trim the shrubs, weed the flower beds, mow the lawn, rake the leaves, & sweep the walkways.

  • Plant flowers in the flower beds or in pots that are in-season to liven up the appearance.

  • Straighten gutters, planters, mailbox, or things that sag or tilt.

  • Close the garage door, hide the garage cans, remove extra cars.
